The Baltimore Ravens have been subject to an absolutely wild offseason. They thought they had a blockbuster deal for Maxx Crosby, but ultimately backed out, signed Trey Hendrickson, and saw an agonizing amount of key contributors leave in free agency.
Recently, there has even been some interesting news surrounding former players. Geno Stone, who was once a playmaker in Baltimore’s secondary, joined another Ravens rival this offseason. He left the Cincinnati Bengals and will now be a part of the Buffalo Bills. He officially signed a one-year contract with them on Monday.
In his first press conference as a Bill, he talked about what drew him to Buffalo. Whether an accident or not, he took a major shot at the Bengals with his response.
#Bills S Geno Stone says the Bills were attractive because he wanted to get back to a winning culture…Stone also says his agent repped Micah Hyde so he’s had conversations with Hyde before…both Hyde and Stone also went to Iowa

It sounds like he is still a Raven at heart, and Ravens fans will certainly sit back and laugh at that one.
Geno Stone takes shot at former team and Baltimore Ravens rival
Now, maybe this isn't the right person to make this comment, since Stone has had a very rough go of it since leaving Baltimore.
It’s fair to say his tenure in Cincinnati didn’t go as planned. He was still a ballhawk with six interceptions over two seasons, but his tackling struggles went from bad to worse. He missed 40 tackles between 2024 and 2025, and his play in coverage wasn’t nearly up to the standards that it was in Baltimore.
To make matters worse for him (and good for the Ravens), the Bengals continued their slow descent down the AFC North. After a Super Bowl appearance in 2021, they seemed poised to be one of the top teams in the NFL for the next five years. They’ve only fallen since, and are still without a Super Bowl win.
Of course, injuries were a big reason for the Bengals' struggles in 2025, but their defensive identity was an absolute disaster that Stone contributed to. The winning standard that he was spoiled with in Charm City was gone, and while he hopes greener pastures are on the other side with the Bills, they also have their own troubles with reaching the top of the playoff mountain.
Like the Bengals, the Bills haven’t won a Super Bowl in their franchise’s history. They’ve been more consistent with being a top playoff contender in recent years, though, but the tendency of coming up short has remained (something the Ravens can unfortunately relate to).
Regardless, Stone has definitely struck a nerve with his comments. The Ravens' rivalry with Stone if the two face off in the playoffs in 2026 was already something to watch for, but Stone’s probably just added even more fuel to the fire in his relationship with the Bengals' fanbase.
