Every NFL player dreams of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy, but not every team offers a realistic shot at making that happen. Free agents often weigh factors like money, role, and coaching staff, but at the end of the day, winning trumps all.

If you're a veteran looking to compete for a ring in 2025, Baltimore Ravens star safety Kyle Hamilton has a message for you: Baltimore is where you need to be.

During an appearance on The Mina Kimes Show, Hamilton shut down the idea that the Ravens are missing something to get over the hump. “I’ve had so many people ask me what the Ravens are missing. I’m like, literally nothing,” Hamilton said. “We have everything you want to win a championship. It’s just we haven’t been playing well when we got to the point that we need to win. There’s no excuses for that. It’s just offense, defense, special teams, we have to do better.”

The Ravens were rolling late in the 2024 season, entering the playoffs as AFC North champs and winners of their last four regular-season games. They crushed the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card Round but faltered against Buffalo in the Divisional Round, making it another disappointing finish. Even so, Hamilton sees no reason to panic—the Ravens have all the pieces to win it all.

The Ravens have everything they need to win a Super Bowl

Teams love to pitch free agents on their “vision for the future,” but in Baltimore, there’s no need for a sales job. The Ravens are already built to contend. Hamilton wasn’t just throwing out clichés when he said the team has “everything you want to win a championship.” The roster speaks for itself.

Baltimore has:

  • A two-time MVP quarterback in Lamar Jackson
  • A dominant defense led by fast-rising defensive coordinator Zach Orr
  • An elite rushing attack with Derrick Henry leading the charge
  • A top-tier coaching staff with John Harbaugh at the helm

When you look at the landscape of the AFC, there are only a handful of teams that are legitimate Super Bowl threats every year. The Ravens are one of them. They aren’t stuck in a rebuild, hoping for a miracle draft class to change their fortunes. They’re a proven winner, just waiting for the right players to help push them over the edge.

If you're a veteran free agent still searching for a ring, you’d be foolish not to consider Baltimore. The Ravens don’t need to beg guys to join them—they’re offering a direct path to competing for a title. That should be especially appealing to older stars who have accomplished everything except winning a Super Bowl.

Hamilton's confidence in the Ravens isn’t misplaced. They aren’t just another good team hoping to be in the mix—they expect to be there. If you're a free agent looking for the last piece of your legacy, Baltimore is the place to be. Let's get this team over the hump.
