The Baltimore Ravens, once again, find themselves in a situation where their top pick in the NFL Draft needs to be spent on someone who cam help Lamar Jackson reach his full potential. The offensive line, now without Tyler Linderbaum, and pass-catcher stable seem to be the most likely areas for that upgrade.
According to Matt Miller of ESPN, the Ravens may be looking at wide receivers and tight ends with the No. 14 pick, which is a sharp change for a team that has been consistently linked to Linderbaum replacements on the offensive line, like Penn State guard Vega Ioane.
The Ravens have been connected to two pass catchers in Sadiq and wide receiver Jordyn Tyson (Arizona State)," Miller said. "There might be a 50-50 shot of Sadiq being on the board at No. 14, but the idea of Tyson or Omar Cooper Jr. (Indiana) at wide receiver to boost the offense makes sense."

Tyson has a case to be made for the title of No. 1 wide receiver in the class, but his injury problems might be too much to overcome. If the Ravens feel confident in his ability to stay healthy, they could land an immediate new top pass catcher who can even push Zay Flowers into a more complementary role if he reaches his full potential.
Sadiq has 4.4 speed at the tight end position, and his 245-pound frame could give him some appeal as both a traditional in-line tight end and a psuedo wide receiver who can line up in the slot. Mark Andrews' time is coming to an end, and the Ravens are reeling from the loss of both Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar.
Cooper might be a bit of a reach at No. 14, but there is a clear and obvious future where he is a productive player. In a Ravens offense that will give him some chances to make plays as a runner, all while he starts to improve his route-running and flexes his ball skills in contested catch situations.
The Ravens' lack of offensive firepower has been a problem for years, but with a new head coach in Jesse Minter now implementing his vision for what this team can look like on that side of the ball, Baltimore may invest one of their top picks in a passing game force amplifier like Sadiq, Tyson, or Cooper.
