This weekend's AFC Divisional Round features a matchup many of us would have loved to see in the AFC Championship Game, but this is just the way things have shaken out. The Baltimore Ravens are set up for a game against the Buffalo Bills in what looks to be a clash of two heavyweights.

We're going to see two MVP finalists squaring off in frigid temperatures. It's going to be football weather, as they say.

Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen are both deserving of the league's Most Valuable Player, and fans are hoping to see examples of exactly why on both ends, this weekend. Of course, we're hoping Jackson comes out on top.

But, this should be a great game, nonetheless.

One of the bigger storylines, this week, is indeed the weather. Just how cold is it going to get come kickoff?

Latest Bills-Ravens weather forecast for 2025 Divisional Round

Currently, the projected kickoff temperature for this game is expected to be 12 degrees. The wind chill is said to be at just 2 degrees.

So, the Bills are used to cold weather games and they are at home. Why would the Ravens and Lamar Jackson be feeling confident? It's pretty simple. Come cold weather games, Lamar is a cheat code.

Jackson's last loss in a game where the kickoff temperature was below 36 degrees came five years ago. Over his career, Jackson is 8-2 in games where the temperature is under that mark.

Now, this weekend's matchup is going to be very, very different than any other cold weather game Jackson has played, of course, A kickoff temperature of 12 degrees would be the coldest game Jackson has ever started. His previous low temperature was 27 degrees.

Just last week, Jackson and the Ravens' Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers had a kickoff temperature of 35 degrees and that didn't seem to phase the quarterback one bit. He was an efficient 16-of-21 and tossed a pair of touchdowns while also rushing for 81 yards as well.

Once again to speak on differences, this week's game against the Bills is a whole lot different than last week's matchup with the Steelers. Buffalo is a completely different beast, so we're in for a much closer matchup if logic wins.

Still, you have got to love Lamar's success in cold weather and how it bodes for the Ravens' continued playoff run. Will this be another cold weather win for Jackson?
