Baltimore Ravens’ rookie offensive guard Vega Ioane is questionable to return with a knee injury. He left the Week 7 contest during Baltimore’s third drive of the game; Emery Jones Jr. replaced him.

He got up slowly early in the drive, and according to reports, he came out after the third-down completion to Zay Flowers that went for 20 yards.

The troubles without Ioane were clear. The offense moved the ball well for the most part. However, they got into their typical short-yardage woes late in the drive, and Ioane wasn’t there to bail them out.

The Ravens conducted an 18-play drive that took 11 minutes off the clock, but in the red zone, they were stuffed twice on inside run plays. Derrick Henry was stopped for 0 yards on both runs, and a false start on fourth down forced a Tyler Loop field goal.

Those issues have been present even with Ioane in the lineup. Still, this week’s offensive line appeared to be in good form — the new trio of Ioane, Cam Jurgens, and John Simpson did relatively well.

Ultimately, though, not having Ioane up front is a back-breaker. He’s been dominant this year, even getting recognition in the Offensive Rookie of the Year race. If that’s a serious injury, it would spell huge problems for a Baltimore offense already going through it.

The injuries have been relentless. They lost Danny Pinter, Ethan Pocic, and Jovaughn Gwyn to long-term injuries, and Andrew Vorhees has missed time with a foot issue. Add Ioane to that growing list.

In fact, entering Sunday, the Ravens were trotting out their fifth different offensive line combination. For context, this is the team’s seventh game of the 2026 campaign. Eric DeCosta worked hard to fix the offensive line, but injuries are stopping it from truly taking shape.

Simply put, Baltimore needs Ioane back. He’s been their best offensive lineman. You can’t replace him, especially not with Jones, who’s struggled in 2026.

Here are the latest updates on Ioane’s status.
