Change is coming.

The Baltimore Ravens need an overhaul of changes this offseason. Their 26-24 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers was proof that the team was a dysfunctional mess in 2025.

From decisions made by General Manager Eric DeCosta, to weekly coaching blunders, to abysmal play on the field in several areas, it was evident that 2025 wasn’t meant to be. Their Week 18 loss was the perfect ending to a rollercoaster of a season that was filled with far more lows than highs.

Fans have been hollering for changes since their disastrous Week 1 loss. From the get-go, it was obvious that this year’s coaching staff wasn’t going to be the one to lead the Ravens to their first Super Bowl since the 2012 season. Now, it sounds like fans may finally get one of those changes.

NFL insider hints at Ravens’ coaching change

While most of the fans have been begging for Head Coach John Harbaugh to be shown the door, a recent report suggests that a switch could be made at one of Baltimore’s coordinator positions.

On Monday, Josina Anderson reported that league sources believe a new coordinator could soon be arriving in Charm City.

Between Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken and Defensive Coordinator Zach Orr, both have caused problems in 2025.

In Monken’s case, his reluctance to use running back Derrick Henry for all four quarters throughout the year put the offense in a rut more often than not. However, late in the year, when quarterback Lamar Jackson was a healthier version of himself, Monken’s schemes seemed to work far more efficiently. For that late-season success, he may have earned himself at least one more season as offensive coordinator.

For Orr, though, many believe his time should be up. While at the midseason point it appeared that Orr once again transformed the defense, he fell right back on his own ways late.

At the most pivotal stage of the 2025 campaign, Orr let the big plays get the best of his unit. He failed to scheme up much pressure, and his relaxed coverage, which saw cornerbacks play 10-plus yards off the line of scrimmage, was the defense’s fatal flaw.

If the Ravens do make a switch on the coordinator side, Orr will likely be the one to go. After an inconsistent 2024 campaign, he showed little to no progress in his second season controlling the defense. He is still just 33 years old and has time to develop into a brilliant coaching mind, but that time is clearly not now.
