2 Baltimore Ravens rated Top-5 players in Madden 24
The most-sold videogame in August on a yearly basis, the world-renowned franchise Madden, has been releasing the ratings for the next edition of the game for the last few days.
After rating Zay Flowers as the fastest rookie in the league, the folks from EA Sports have put two more Ravens in the top-5 at their respective positions for Madden 24.
Those two players are, reasonably, tight end Mark Andrews and cornerback Marlon Humphrey. Just a few days ago, when PFF released their own Top 50 NFL players for the 2023 season, they included Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews in their list.
Now, Andrews gets a second nod getting named as a top TE in the NFL, and he's joined by defensive superstar Marlon Humphrey as a top-5 player in the ratings system of Madden for their latest edition.
Andrews only trails Travis Kelce (perfect 99 rating) and George Kittle (96) as the best player at his position entering next year. That is reasonable, considering the exploits of those three, altough it's also worth noting how close Andrews (95) and Kittle are rated by the EA Sports talent assesment team.
When it comes to cornerbacks, Humphrey's fifth-best rank could be considered also to be tied for fourth-best along with New York Jets second-year player Sauce Garner's 93 rating.
As it happened with Andrews in his position, Humphrey is really close to those above him. The Ravens' defensive leader is only one point behind Patrick Surtain and just two points off no. 2 CB Jaire Alexander.
Jalen Ramsey, however, is in a league of his own as the best corner in the league per EA Sports rated at a gaudy 97 OVR and two full points above second-place Alexander.
When it comes to Baltimore Ravens players, Andrews (95 OVR) is the best-rated player in Madden 24 followed by Humphrey (93), and Ronnie Stanley (90) as the only other two members of the 90+ club pending Lamar Jackson's rate reveal on Friday, July 21.
