It was a tough watch Thursday night.

The Baltimore Ravens fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO. The final score was 27-20, which usually indicates it was a close game. The score was much closer than the game itself. Aside from an opening touchdown on the first drive of the game, the Ravens were playing from behind for most of the game.

While the Ravens were outplayed throughout the night, it wasn't all doom and gloom. The Ravens had some highs among the sea of lows. Here are the Ravens Week 1's winners and losers.

Winners and losers from the Ravens Week 1 loss to the Chiefs

Winner: Isaiah Likely

Thursday night's tilt will for now be known as Isaiah Likely's coming out party. He is the biggest winner of the night, arguably on both sides. The Ravens' tight end was making plays all over the field. He was the most consistent weapon on offense for the team. He finished the night with 9 receptions for 111 receiving yards and one (almost two) touchdowns. There's a feeling that this won't be the only week he comes out a winner.

Winner: David Ojabo

David Ojabo looked like the player the Ravens have been waiting for, for years. He looked confident and comfortable. His overall stat line won't necessarily stand out, but he was an impactful player throughout the game. He did get a sack on Patrick Mahomes and recorded a tackle for loss. It's a great sign of what's to come this season for Ojabo. If he can continue to disrupt plays in the backfield, the Ravens' defense will be elite.

Loser: the officials

The officiating was terrible. It was terrible from the first drive through the rest of the game. The officials didn't call a fair game. It was very one-sided. The Ravens were heavily scrutinized for their offensive line formation (more about the O line in a bit) while the Chiefs were not. The Chiefs even got away with their defensive coordinator calling a timeout. DCs aren't allowed to call timeouts. It's a penalty. Well, the Chiefs weren't penalized and they were awarded the timeout. It was wild.

Loser: the entire offensive line

The offensive line was a mess. Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones baptized Ravens offensive tackle Roger Rosengarten on his first career NFL snap. Lamar Jackson was under attack all night due to the line's poor play. The running game struggled to get anything consistent going. They knew going into the season there would be a learning curve, but they have a massive issue that needs to be addressed ASAP.
