The Baltimore Ravens (12-3) and the Miami Dolphins (11-4) are both coming off statement victories this past week against the 49ers and the Cowboys respectively.

The Ravens dominated San Francisco on Christmas day with a convincing 33-19 victory. As for the Dolphins, they finally were able to beat a team with a winning record thanks to a last-second field goal by kicker Jason Sanders to knock off Dallas.

Here are 3 bold predictions for this highly-anticipated matchup that will decide the winner of the AFC, the team enjoy a bye week during the first round of the playoffs, and the franchise that will need to keep fighting in Week 18 to win their respective division.

1. Marcus Williams makes it two in a row

Marcus Williams has had a solid year, but the interception numbers are down for him compared to previous seasons of his career.

He injured his pec early on and we've seen the effects of the injury throughout the season. But Williams recorded his first interception of the season last week against the 49ers, effectively sealing the game for the Ravens.

I think this was a great sign for Williams going into week 17 against the Dolphins.

Williams had a fantastic game the last time the Ravens faced the Dolphins. Despite a historic meltdown by the Raven's defense, Williams got off to a tremendous start to the game with two early interceptions. He was flying all over the field and making great plays on the football.

The Raven's secondary might be a little thin going into week 17, with Kyle Hamilton and Brandon Stephens not practicing on Friday.

So, I think other guys like Marcus Williams will have to step up. I predict that Williams will get another interception this week and 2 pass breakups.
