Jadeveon Clowney sets a new career high
Jadeveon Clowney has put together a very solid NFL career that has him currently sitting at over 50 career sacks in the NFL, but he's never reached double-digits in one season.
He's had multiple pro-bowl-level seasons, but he may be putting together his best season yet in 2023.
After signing late in the off-season with the Ravens, Clowney has emerged as a high-level starter who continuously disrupts opposing offenses.
He's become the top edge rusher on the Ravens, recording 7.5 sacks and 17 quarterback hits. He's also in the top 10 in the NFL in pressures.
He's well on his way to recording his first double-digit sack season sometime down the stretch, but I think he gets impatient and will reach it on Sunday.
Clowney had a big game against the Chargers two weeks ago, recording a key strip sack along with 2 quarterback hits. And, the Rams are currently allowing the 4th most sacks per game offensively. This feels like a perfect scenario for Clowney and the Ravens defensive front.
I think Clowney reaches 10 sacks on the season and forces another fumble.
