3 bold predictions for the Ravens vs. Steelers Week 5 Matchup
By Justin Long
3. Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen have déjà vu
The last time the Ravens traveled to Pittsburgh, they walked out with a 16-14 victory. In that game, Mitch Trubisky took over for Kenny Pickett after Pickett suffered an injury. Trubisky would go on to throw 3 interceptions, including one to each of Patrick Queen and Roquan Smith.
I think we could see another pair of interceptions from the league's best linebacker duo.
Smith and Queen have been playing at an All-Pro level so far this season and have been major catalysts in the Ravens' success. Although neither of them has an interception this season, we constantly see their presence being made in the passing lanes.
Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett has been prone to turning the ball over at times in his young career. So far this season, he's thrown an interception in three out of four games, totaling 4 INT on the season.
There's a chance Pickett doesn't play, but he has practiced this week meaning it's possible he makes the start.
Either way, I think with the combination of offensive struggles for Pittsburgh, and the defensive success for the Ravens, we could see Queen and Smith get their hands on the football.
The Ravens and Steelers matchups are always close, and it wouldn't shock me if it was close once again this Sunday. But I think this could be the rare occasion of the Ravens winning by multiple scores against Pittsburgh.
