1. CB Marcus Peters

Peters is one of the most fascinating defensive players in the league. His peak performances are so impressive that he could have had a shot at Canton if he had been a bit more consistent. He has also never played for one franchise four years in a row due to a very volatile personalty.

Peters, who led the league in interception return yardage three times and picks once, seemed to find a home with the Ravens after being named All-Pro in 2019 (earning a $42 million contract in the process) and picking off four passes in 2020. After that season, everything has gone downhill for the former Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Peters tore his ACL in 2021 and missed the entire season. His play never seemed to recover. Always an iffy tackler, Peters started to struggle in coverage more to the point where Baltimore didn't bring him back last season. Even Antonio Pierce and the Las Vegas Raiders, one of the worst secondaries in the league, waived him after 12 games following his one-year deal.

Peters is now 31 years old, multiple levels beneath where he was a player in the past, and has an ACL tear in his medical history. It's tough to see a player who was in the running for the best cornerback in the league during his prime take such a significant step backward.
