1. Yannick Ngakoue, Chicago Bears
Ravens fans might have a bad taste in their mouth for Ngakoue after trading multiple draft picks for what was ultimately an underwhelming player, and he looked much worse with the Bears than he did in the prior season with the Indianapolis Colts. Still, the Ravens might try to see if Ngakoue has an interest in a reunion.
Ngakoue complained about how he was utilized in Baltimore, but Wink Martindale's defense was much different than what Mike Macdonald unleashed on the league last year and what new DC Zach Orr will try to replicate. Perhaps the new staff will get the soon-to-be 29-year-old in better spirits.
Yannick Ngakoue could come back to the Baltimore Ravens
The 4.0 sacks he amassed last year could be bumped up to the neighborhood of the 10.0 and 9.5 sacks from his prior two seasons with the Raiders and Colts, respectively. Even in a role as a pure pass rush specialist, there's still enough talent for Baltimore to mine another productive season out of him next to Oweh.
If Ngakoue can make up with Harbaugh and the Ravens tweak their defense to accommodate for his changing skillset, Baltimore can bring in a solid veteran who can pressure the quarterback like Clowney without costing them the $20 million Carolina just gave him.
