According to reporters present at Owings Mills for Day 2 of the Ravens camp, Baltimore's defense was much better than the offense on Thursday. That, of course, included Kyle Hamilton.

Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun included Hamilton among the players mentioned in a piece with some observations writing that the upcoming sophomore "has shown good instincts and provides another weapon for defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald."

The author points out that we might see the Ravens "interchange both Hamilton and fellow safety Marcus Williams as opposed to having Williams play center field," something that we could easily see happening considering the all-around skill set of Hamilton.

As quoted by Preston in his piece, Marcus Williams gave Hamilton all of his flowers following Thursday practice.

"Kyle looks great," Williams said. "Since he was a rookie, he’s always been getting better. He’s continuing to get better in the film room, out on the field, getting more comfortable, playing together, side by side. So, as long as he continues to focus, lock-in, and come out here and do all he can to work, I think he’s going to be great."

If you want to listen to the very own freshest Ravens' defensive star, you can do so by watching the little interview he gave to the folks over 98 Rock.
