2. Detroit Lions

Dan Campbell and the Lions are in a very good spot this offseason. Not only were they just a few inches away from a Super Bowl appearance, but they will enter free agency with a ton of cap space and some very clear needs that can be addressed by splashing some cash on players like Madubuike.

Alim McNeil is a solid interior lineman, but he can't do everything on his own. With former second-rounder Levi Onwuzurike looking like a draft bust and recent third-rounder Brodric Martin receiving minimal playing time, Detroit has a starting spot with Madubuike's name all over it.

Could the Lions sign Baltimore Ravens DT Justin Madubuike?

Many of Detroit's best players are on cheaper deals, the division is one of the worst in the league, and both Campbell and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn have been regarded as some of the best coaches to play for in the league. That could make for a compelling pitch.

Outside of raw money being offered up, Baltimore's pitch to Madubuike must be based on familiarity if they want to look more attractive than the Lions. Why try something new when you know the scheme and surrounding players in Baltimore, all while getting paid market value?
