Winner: Andrew Vorhees

The Ravens are heading into the 2024 season with Vorhees, a former Top-100 prospect who fell after tearing his ACL at the NFL Combine, and Ben Cleveland as the two starting guards. With no draftees or veterans like Dalton Risner brought in, the Ravens have inadvertently given Vorhees a huge vote of confidence.

Seventh-rounder Nick Samac will likely back up Tyler Linderbaum at center, giving Vorhees the pole position for the left guard spot. A 25-year-old sort-of rookie with a major injury is a risky bet for left guard on a title contender, but the Ravens seem to believe Vorhees is more than capable of handling that responsibility.

Loser: Daniel Faalele

The Rosengarten pick may give the Ravens a new projected starter at right tackle, but it will also make things much tougher for Faalele to secure a starting role finally. Faalele, who has started one game in two seasons after being picked in the fourth round, could be sent to the bench once again.

Faalele is as big and physical as they come at right tackle, but he may not have progressed enough as an athlete and technical pass blocker to dissuade Baltimore from taking Rosengarten. Unless Ronnie Stanley gets hurt and Faalele somehow jumps over to left tackle, his Ravens tenure could be coming to a close soon.
