ILB Roquan Smith: "As long as we have 11 on the field on both sides, we’re good"
One of the main storylines to follow early in the 2023 season when it comes to Baltimore football has been the never-ending string of injuries that many of the Ravens starters have suffered right after the regular season kicked off a little over half a month ago.
The Ravens lost J.K. Dobbins for the season in Week 1, then other starters such as offensive linemen stalwarts Ronnie Stanley and Tyler Linderbaum got banged up, and many others have fell down since then.
"We know who we got on our team. We got all the confidence in everybody to step up and do their job. At the end of the day, as long as we have 11 on the field on both sides, we’re good."Roquan Smith, Baltimore Ravens
Roquan Smith is not one of those injured men, and he fully trusts all healthy and available players the Ravens still boast in their roster. Judging by the quote above, one he dropped after the Ravens went on to beat the supposed AFC North favorites Bengals 27-24 on the road, you better trust this squad too.
Smith and fellow off-ball linebacker Patrick Queen have put together the best start to the season by two players at their position and that shouldn't change this week facing the Colts inside The Bank.
