ILB Patrick Queen: "We all got a job to do. If any of us flinch, we can’t reach [our] goals"

With the win against the Bengals already in the rearview mirror and the team back in practice ahead of the matchup against the Colts in Week 3, Smith's partner in crime Patrick Queen took to the podium on Wednesday following the first day of training this week.

Of course, media members attending the session brought back the injury bug biting the Ravens day in day out this season and seemingly forcing the franchise to rule players out on a daily basis.

"Throughout life playing this sport, people always get hurt. It's unfortunate--but you can't let it bother you. We all got a job to do. We all got goals that we want to reach. If any of us flinch, we can't reach those goals. So, the best thing for us is to stay focused at the task at hand."

Patrick Queen, Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore placed starting nickel cornerback on Injured Reserve to start the week, lost Justice Hill, Odell Beckham, and Odafe Oweh on Sunday, and still boasts a plethora of banged-up players in their injury report just a couple of days before Week 3.

Not that Queen doesn't know that's part of the game and something every team has to deal with. So far, so good for the Ravens Flock in dealing with all of the adversity judging by their impeccable 2-0 record.

If this is what the team cand do with half of the lineup down, we just can't imagine and wait for what these dudes have in store when all of them become available and play together later in the season and hopefully deep into the playoffs.
