Jadeveon Clowney, eager to stop rookie C.J. Stroud in his tracks
The Ravens might have placed David Ojabo ahead of Jadeveon Clowney in the team's deapth chart ahead of Week 1 for the SAM linebacker role, but the former no. 1 pick from the 2014 draft cannot wait to face the team that first welcomed him to the NFL.
Clowney, a season veteran entering his 10th season as a professional player, will do everything in his power to help Baltimore kick the season off on a positive note, as much savagery as that might take.
"Of course [I’m licking my chops]," Clowney said on Friday, as quoted by Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun"The challenge for us is to make sure [Houston Texans rookie QB C.J. Stroud] doesn’t see what he wants to see, give him something different to see."
