Cornerback - Arthur Maulet

Maulet was another free-agency acquisition made of late by the Ravens because of the many players that fell down injured through the months of July and August.

The former Pittsburgh Steelers nickel corner was expected to actually lead the race for getting that role in Baltimore once he inked his deal with no clear option available before that signing happened.

Sadly, injuries ended his bid before he could even present one. Maulet's main competitor was initially going to be Kevon Seymour, and the latter had a good enough set of preseason outings as to claim a roster spot in the 53-man squad.

Not only Seymour, but Ar'Darius Washington beat all expectations and is now the actual leading man to handle oppositing slot receivers starting at the nickel corner position come Week 1 and the matchup against the Texans on Sept. 10.
