A lot went wrong for the Baltimore Ravens last season. The biggest problem was injuries, including one to Lamar Jackson. However, Baltimore still found a way to win 10 games and make the playoffs. With all that went wrong last season, the Ravens were one play away from defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card Round.

Fortunately, Baltimore has spent the offseason getting healthy and improving the roster. With the new additions and acquired health, the Ravens should return to contender status this season. Let’s take a look at the team’s five biggest strengths.

As the Ravens prepare to dominate in the 2023 season, here are the team’s five biggest strengths that will help them win games.

5. Lamar Jackson is the biggest strength

Obviously, Lamar Jackson, the team’s quarterback, had to be on this list. It was a long offseason for Jackson, as a contract dispute with the team dominated most of the offseason. From declined deals to misinformation, to a trade request that was used as a negotiating tactic, Baltimore and Jackson went through a lot this offseason.

In the end, Jackson will remain with the Ravens after signing an extension to become the highest-paid player in NFL history. Now, Jackson can get back to doing what he does best, dominating on the field and leading Baltimore to victories.

Oftentimes, people speak like they forgot how good Jackson is and what he can do once he’s on the field. He’s one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and clearly impacts winning. He will surely remind everyone of his value in 2023.
