2. Lamar Jackson, QB
Although the last few seasons have been highlighted by injuries and contract controversy, Jackson is still on pace to be the best quarterback in team history. When he's on the field, Jackson is one of the most dynamic players the NFL has ever seen. He's an absolute difference maker, leading to a team record of 45-16 so far in his career.
Jackson had one of the best single seasons in 2019, leading to a unanimous MVP selection. He was also selected to his first Pro-Bowl, a first team All-pro team, and finished second in Offensive Player of the Year voting. Since then, the production has decreased but Jackson still looks like one of the elite quarterbacks the NFL has to offer.
I expect Jackson to get back to his MVP self this season thanks to a new 5 year contract, new Offensive Coordinator, and some shiny new targets like Zay Flowers and Odell Backham Jr. If he can do that, he'll be the consensus best quarterback in team history (if he isn't considered that already).
