5. Singing RB Justice Hill to a multi-year extension

The Baltimore Ravens secured the re-signing of running back Justice Hill before they extended Lamar Jackson. Even though the deal was cheap (around $4.5 million over two years), some called it a little bit unnecesary considering the presence of J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards in the backfield and above Hill in the pecking order. Welp.

Hill will only turn 26 years old next month and although he's fought with his share of health issues he's looked more than solid, let alone becoming one of the most important pieces of the offense going forward following the season-ending injury of Dobbins in Week 1.

Edwards is the RB1 of the Ravens but he's more of a power rusher than a finesse one, so the presence of Hill will always be key for Baltimore's running game and will help the team keep defenses honest with the combination of skill sets of Lamar, Edwards, and Hill.

With Dobbins injured and out of contract next February, knowing that Hill will stay around is surely something good on the running back front.
