WR Zay Flowers: "I'm going to do what I do no matter where I'm at and go out and get this win"
Flowers might have only played four games in the NFL but he's already grabbed many headlines and instilled fear in opposing defenses. That's perhaps why he has been the main target of the Steelers trash talkers, who have decided to talk smack labeling Flowers as just a "little munchkin."
Well, I guess Flowers 1) doesn't give much of a damn about it and 2) is determined to shut some big mouths in Week 5.
"I know it's a big rivalry and all that, but at the end of the day I'm going to have fun no matter where I'm at. I'm going to do what I do no matter where I'm at and go out and get this win."- Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
The Steelers could have drafted Flowers this spring but instead decided to pick left tackle Broderick Jones. Turns out they whiffed big-time, with Jones missing the first four games of the season and Flowers racking up stats through the first month of play.
Flowers talked to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin at the NFL Combine and there was a chance he could end up in Pittsburgh, but the Steelers scouts didn't know how to appreciate the talented receiver's skill set and ended up passing on him. Cheers!
