LB Roquan Smith: "[They are a] physical team, and that’s something we pride ourselves on as well"

Ever since arriving in Baltimore nearly a year ago ahead of the 2022 trade deadline, Smith has been undoubtedly one of the leaders inside the Ravens locker room and outside of it, on the field.

Smith was asked about the matchup against Tennessee and all he said was that Baltimore will step up to the plate, match their opponents on all fronts, compete as greatly as they know, and simply win on Sunday.

"[They are a] physical team, and that’s something we pride ourselves on as well, knowing they have a really good [running] back. [Derrick] Henry’s been doing it for a really long time. [They have a] good quarterback in [Ryan] Tannehill as well as ‘D-Hop’ [DeAndre Hopkins], [who has been] one of the best in the game for a while. They definitely have some pieces over there. It’s just going to be about doing our jobs, stopping the run first and foremost. [It’s] what they definitely lean on all game long. Then, eliminating ‘D-Hop’ as well, because they’re definitely going to try and get him the ball. It’ll be a great match for us, a great challenge, so [we’re] looking forward to it."

The Ravens will need to play much better than they did last weekend, or at least not purposedly hurt their chances at beating a team that enters Week 6 as the underdog in a matchup that, at least on paper, Baltimore should have not a lot of problems winning.

Finally a healthy team! Odafe Oweh out, Keaton Mitchell in?. dark. Next. Finally a healthy team! Odafe Oweh out, Keaton Mitchell in?

The Titans are coming off a loss against the Colts in Week 5 and will try to rebound, but they are currently looking bad and boasting a negative 2-3 record on the season.
