6 Bold Predictions About 2023 Ravens Draft Picks
By Justin Long
Kyu Kelly: 3 Interceptions
Drafted 33 picks after Tavius Robinson, Kyu Kelly became the only defensive back drafted by the Ravens in the 2023 draft. Kelly could very well find his way into some games this season thanks to the Ravens lack of cornerback depth.
After losing key starter Marcus Peters this off season, the Ravens signed Rock Ya-Sin and more recently, Ronald Darby. But, All-Pro cornerback Marlon Humphrey recently had surgery that should cost him the first month of the season and Ya-Sin has been dealing with injuries throughout camp.
It seems as if the Ravens will have to depend on some young, inexperienced cornerbacks this season and I could see Kelly earning himself some playing time.
So far throughout camp, Kelly has been praised for his football smarts as a rookie. This could give him a leg up on some of his fellow Ravens teammates down the line.
