Candidates to be Baltimore Ravens third QB on roster: Bryce Perkins

Lastly, the Ravens could look once more to the free agent pool. Since this would be more of a permanent move, with Baltimore essentially committing to carrying three quarterbacks during the regular season, they'd want to find the best possible candidate for the job.

Bryce Perkins has been in the NFL since going undrafted back in 2020, and has spent all of his time with the Los Angeles Rams. Perkins has mostly been a practice squad guy for Los Angeles, but is now a free agent in search for his next team.

The former Arizona State and Virginia standout is just 26 years old, yet has some experience filling in for an injured Matthew Stafford and John Wolford, just this last season. Perkins completed 19 of 34 passes last year for 161 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He's still very raw, but with some valuable experience behind Stafford and a couple of years learning from Sean McVay, that counts for something.

One other thing Perkins brings to the table is his rushing ability, which Baltimore loves to have behind guys like Jackson and Huntley. In 2022, Perkins rushed 19 times for 90 yards, and six of those carries went for a first down.
