Ravens players who will get cut before 2023 season begins: WR Tylan Wallace
As a fourth-round pick back in 2021, Tylan Wallace has not been the guy Baltimore had hoped for. He's also another example that proves the Ravens have indeed tried to fix the wide receiver position (see: Devin Duvernay) but have not been able to find a guy who truly breaks out.
Now in his third year and hardly owed any guaranteed money, Wallace is a very likely cut candidate.
You look at the Ravens' top wide receivers and there's Odell Beckham Jr., rookie Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and then veteran Nelson Agholor. That's four roster spots which are locked up at the moment. Those guys aren't going anywhere.
Beyond those four, you have Duvernay, who will likley finish out his rookie deal in Baltimore as the fifth wide receiver and a special teams type of players. Then, at the moment, James Proche is still ahead of Wallace on the depth chart.
There simply isn't room for the Oklahoma State product. He'll end up being cut, and hopefully for his sake, catch on elsewhere.
