2. If Arthur Maulet is healthy he will make the Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens most unresolved position on the roster is the slot. That is why the team signing DeAndre Houston-Carson is so significant. It is because he may be better than any slot option they have, and the Baltimore Ravens may be best at getting creative.

If he is heatlhy, Arthur Maulet can hold it down in the slot. He took over the slot job for the Steelers late in the year, and they were playing strong defense down the stretch. The injury to Pepe Williams opened the door wide for Maulet, and he has not been able to walk through.

That is because he has not been able to walk on the practice squad. He missed the first preseason game and now is sidelined most of this week. The need for a slot cornerback has his roster status in a better spot than someone like Jalyn Armour-Davis. However, if the Ravens get better news on the injury of Williams or if someone can step up in the slot, Maulet will be lower on the ranking next week.
