6. Sam Mustipher is right on the Baltimore Ravens bubble

Sam Mustipher has a pretty clearly defined role with the Baltimore Ravens. He is the backup center. That has its value, but also, if Tyler Linderbaum is not hurt, he really brings little to the table to keep him active on gamedays.

You have to have seven inactive on gamedays, but are you really keeping Mustipher on the roster, knowing he will be inactive every week? When you look at the Ravens roster, there are nine guys ahead of Mustipher with stronger cases for the roster.

They have five starters, and six if you consider there is the competition at left guard. Then, you have Patrick Mekari, who could play center in a pinch and may be the top backup at any spot across the line.

The eighth and ninth guys are Ben Cleveland and Daniel Faalele. Both have gotten work at right guard and right tackle, and you could argue that Mustipher could make the roster over either. However, both have that versatility, and both are younger with more potential.

Mustipher may only make the roster because the Ravens keep ten linemen. Otherwise, he just does not bring the value. They would just keep him because any team needing a center would quickly sign him due to his experience.
