Baltimore Ravens: Each AFC North foe's most overrated player
By Ryan Heckman
Baltimore Ravens fans can agree Steelers WR Allen Robinson is overrated
After finishing his final season with the Chicago Bears and catching just 38 passes for 410 yards and one touchdown, Allen Robinson was given a 3-year contract worth over $46 million by the Los Angeles Rams.
Last season with Los Angeles, Robinson finished with 33 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns in 10 games. Most Bears fans probably got a little bit of comic relief from watching that performance, mostly because his effort during the last year of his stint with Chicago was no where to be seen.
Now on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Robinson's name is the only thing he has going for him. Next year, his cap hit could end up being over $17 million with Pittsburgh, and it would be an absolute miracle if the Steelers opted to keep him.
Pittsburgh probably won't see much from Robinson this year, even though he has a relatively notable name. It is more likely that Diontae Johnson and George Pickens dominate the production while we see another ho-hum year out of Robinson, whose career has gone on a downward trend in a hurry.
