2. Jeremiah Moon is in the mix for the Baltimore Ravens roster

The Baltimore Ravens have Tyus Bowser on the PUP. He does not appear to be anywhere close to returning, so the team may keep that status through the regular season and closer to week six when he would have to leave the PUP list.

If that is the case, the Ravens will have an extra edge rusher spot. They could use the roster spot elsewhere, but the odds are that they will try to replace Bowser with someone like Jeremiah Moon. Tavis Robinson is a lock for the roster as a fourth-round rookie, but Moon has started over Robinson the past two weeks.

That is because Robinson is a backup to Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo, while Moon is a backup to Tyus Bowser. They play different roles. Overall, Owen and Ojabo will play the RUSH role, and Jadeveon Clowney will likely need to be spelled by someone like Moon in the SAM role. Unless the Ravens add another edge rusher, Moon has to be liking his roster status.
