1. The Baltimore Ravens will rely on Sam Mustipher for a bit

Tyler Linderbaum suffered an ankle injury in the fourth quarter against the Houston Texans. Of all of these injuries, it sounds like Linderbaum may be the earliest to return. However, an ankle injury probably has him sidelined for a week or two. When you consider how stung this team has been, they will not rush him back, either.

So, the Baltimore Ravens will rely on Sam Mustipher. They signed him this offseason knowing that they may need a backup center, and one week in, they need him. Mustipher is on the practice squad, so the Ravens will have to place one of Linderbaum or Stanley on the injured reserve. You would think it may be Stanley because they will be extra cautious with his history.

Either way, this will get Mustipher starting on Sunday. The good news is that Mustipher has 2,699 snaps, all at center in his career. He started the past two seasons for the Chicago Bears. The bad news is that the Bears line was awful with him at center, and they moved on from him. He is a backup with starting experience. He can get them through a game or two, but the hope is that Linderbaum can avoid the IR.
