5 Baltimore Ravens who need to step up to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers
1. Can Geno Stone keep up the strong play for the Baltimore Ravens?
One of the best performers of the Baltimore Ravens in the last three weeks has been Geno Stone. Stone filled in for Marcus Williams, and it is like they never lost him. He had the game-changing play against the Bengals with an interception that led to points. Then, a pick against the Cleveland Browns also led to points and started to turn the game in the Ravens' favor.
He was never even known for the ball-hawking, he was more of a sound tackler, and we have seen that as well. So, this will be a big week for him. For the rest of the players, it was more about the matchup. For Stone, it is more personal.
Marcus Williams is back, but the Ravens may not bench Stone. Instead, they may move Kyle Hamilton into the slot and keep Stone back there with Williams. That shows how well he has played, but with that, they can take it at any time. If they see Stone slip up, Hamilton starts at strong safety and Arthur Maulet comes into the slot. Maulet caused a pick as well, so he is not too far behind. Stone has to feel the pressure of Maulet, and Maulet has to be letting him feel it. The Ravens need Stone to keep up this level of play, and he needs to do it as well to keep himself on the field.
