2. Odell Beckham Jr. suffers an injury

One of the biggest moves for the Ravens, this offseason, was when they signed veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Fans will always remember that signing as the big one to come before the ultimate extension for Lamar Jackson. Seeing Beckham sign with the Ravens at least calmed some nerves for fans when it came to the Jackson contract situation.

Knowing these two are great friends and have a strong relationship already was good enough to give reason that the contract would get done eventually, and sure enough, it did.

Now that he's long-removed from his second ACL tear, Beckham has looked great in the videos we've seen of him recently. This offseason, Beckham has looked just as fast and explosive as the old guy we saw a few years ago. But, injury is always in the back of fans' minds with a player like Beckham.

Already, the Ravens have concerns when it comes to Rashod Bateman's health. If the Ravens were to lose Beckham, then rookie Zay Flowers would have to grow up in a hurry, and that's not an ideal scenario. Baltimore still has guys like Nelson Agholor, James Proche and Devin Duvernay, but without Beckham, they don't have that alpha presence. Staying healthy would be the best thing Beckham could do in 2023.
