Marcus Williams is getting back to his best play for the Baltimore Ravens.

This season had been looking like a major disappointment for Marcus Williams. He got injured in week one, came back in week five, and left again in week six. Williams returned in week 10, but he looked awful and unwilling to tackle.

In the early portion of week 11, it looked like Williams was still shy to get physical, but as that game went on, he got back into the groove. On Sunday, it was Marcus Williams at his best, and he was a part of the reason why the Ravens shut down Justin Herbert.

When you look at the injury status of Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Williams, they only started three games together. In week five, Humphrey only played half of the game as he was eased back in. In week six and week seven, Williams left early with an injury, and in week ten the Ravens saw Humphrey leave early. When you consider they have not played one whole game together, there has to be excitement about what can come.

If Humphrey can come back after the bye, the Ravens could finally see just how high the ceiling is for this secondary when healthy.  It looks like Williams is going to be back to his old ways.
