At cornerback, the Ravens have had a little bit to worry about lately. It is definitely becoming a position of need, once again, as just a few days ago the newly-signed Rock Ya-Sin went down with an injury that wound up being not too serious. But still, that was a scare.

Now, more recently, reserve cornerback Trayvon Mullen underwent a toe surgery that will end up putting him out for nearly the entire season, but quite a while, at the very least. The Mullen saga is an interesting one, as the Ravens released him earlier in the offseason after he failed to disclose an injury, but they ended up re-signing him a day later.

The depth at cornerback simply isn't good enough right now, regardless of how you spin it. Chances are, one undrafted free agent is going to make the roster, and it's probably going to be Corey Mayfield Jr. out of UTSA. One of the others, Jordan Swann out of James Madison, won't be so lucky. The Ravens have to go out and address the position, signing another veteran to come in and take a spot.
