Ranking the top 5 quarterbacks on Baltimore Ravens 2023 schedule: No. 3, Trevor Lawrence
The ascension of Trevor Lawrence started happening in a flash last season, and all it took was getting out from under a head coach like Urban Meyer. Doug Pederson worked wonders with Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars offense, which most people would have expected, but maybe not this soon.
Last season, Lawrence faced the Ravens for the first time in his career. The former Clemson standout threw for a whopping 321 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions against this Baltimore defense. Most impressively, Lawrence was almost other-worldly in his efficiency, going 29-for-37 and completing over 78 percent of his passes.
One big change this season for Lawrence? He gets Calvin Ridley on the field after being traded from the Atlanta Falcons. Ridley joins an offensive core featuring Travis E'Tienne, Evan Engram, Christian Kirk and Zay Jones, all of whom contributed in a big way last year for this new-look Jags offense.
This game takes place on Sunday Night Football in Week 15, and it's a road game for Baltimore. There could definitely be some playoff implications, here as well, so it should be a great matchup between Lawrence and Jackson.
