The countdown of the Baltimore Ravens roster continues as the days countdown until the team retakes the field for training camp. We are starting to get into the players who may impact games as we get into the top 55. Today, we kick off the top 55 with Tylan Wallace.

Baltimore Ravens 2023 roster ranking: No. 55 Tylan Wallace

Tylan Wallace is a former fourth-round pick for the Baltimore Ravens. This is his third NFL season, and based on his ranking you can say that this is a make-or-break year for him to make things happen.

Last year was supposed to be a time when the team learned what they had in Wallace. However, he did not get out of the gates strong. Then, after just 21 yards in the first six games, he suffered an injury and missed most of the season. He came back for two weeks in the middle of the year, then came back for Week 18 with the Bengals, but beyond that, he was not getting any work. He finished the year with 33 yards and has just 56 yards through two NFL seasons.

The Baltimore Ravens no longer rely on guys like Tylan Wallace to make things happen for their team. They went out and added Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham. Even Nelson Agholor should be ahead of Wallace when you consider he can get on the field and stay there.

So, when you factor in that Devin Duvernay and Rashod Bateman are not going anywhere, it is easy to get through five wideouts before we even consider Wallace. Based on the issues the team had and the fragility of some of the top wideouts, the Ravens are likely going to keep six wide receivers.

Wallace may be a front runner for that spot, which is why he sits at 55. That is mainly due to special teams, though, which many of the depth guys do not have. Still, guys such as James Proche, Dontay Demus, Laquon Treadwell, and even Andy Isabella are lurking in the background. There are too many names to say that his job is safe.
