Baltimore Ravens Rumors: 3 sensible Patrick Queen trades with the Texans

Trade Number 2: The Ravens get a young wide receiver and a pick for Patrick Queen
If a simple pick for Queen isn't an option, or the Ravens want to acquire a player in the deal, they could continue to try overhauling their wide receiving core. Having signed Odell Beckham Jr. and drafting Zay Flowers, the Ravens fulfilled a future starting spot for years to come with the latter. However, Beckham won't be around long; at least, that's the most likely scenario.
In this trade, the Ravens get last year's rookie, John Metchie III, along with a mid-round pick. The Texans' depth at wide receiver continues to grow, with Nico Collins, Robert Woods, and rookie Xavier Hutchinson and Tank Dell from this year's class.
The twist in this deal is if Metchie is able to play in at least 65 percent of regular season games in 2023, then the conditional pick goes from a fourth to a fifth-round pick in 2024. Coming back from a battle with Leukemia, Metchie certainly has a chance to play this coming season, which is remarkable.
But, just in case he endures any setbacks in his recovery, the Ravens would get a higher draft pick.
If he does end up playing a good amount, Metchie has the chance to give the Ravens a future stud, possession receiver. Coming out of the 2022 NFL Draft class, Metchie was one of, if not the very best, route runner amongst his peers.
