Baltimore Ravens Rumors: 3 trades involving LB Patrick Queen
By Ryan Heckman
The Ravens could trade Patrick Queen to the Minnesota Vikings
Finally, the Ravens could work out what would be maybe the most interesting of trades for the team, right now. Baltimore is approaching the point of being a team which is ready to win a Super Bowl right now. Having locked down Lamar Jackson, signed Odell Beckham Jr. and keeping the likes of Roquan Smith around for a while, this roster has the pieces of a Super Bowl contender.
The Ravens have always been a run-heavy team, and they've had running backs more than capable of leading the way. It hasn't always mattered who is in their back field, whether it's J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, or the plethora of random veterans who have stood behind Jackson over the last couple of years. However, if the Ravens were able to pull off a deal like this, the rest of the AFC would be put on notice.
This is pretty clear-cut; no picks involved. It's a simple, player-for-player trade between the Minnesota Vikings and Ravens. The Vikings get Queen, which fills a huge need for a defense that's been completely turned over and is still in process of doing so.
For the Ravens, they get one of the better running backs in football with Dalvin Cook. Dobbins is younger and a very capable back, sure, but injuries have been an issue for him. Being able to take a little pressure off Dobbins and Cook, pairing them together, would be a huge lift for this offense.
