Trade Number 3: The Ravens go all-in and trade for Jonathan Taylor

Finally, the Ravens could take advantage of a hot name right now in the Indianapolis Colts' Jonathan Taylor. The star running back, of course, asked for a trade prior to the season's start. He did decided he no longer wanted to play for the Colts following a request for a new contract that was denied.

Now returning to practice after spending four weeks on injured reserve, one has to wonder if Taylor is indeed planning to play this week. Regardless, the relationship between Taylor and the Colts cannot be anywhere near mended just yet.

If Taylor and the Colts are still not seeing eye to eye, and the running back has not yet had a change of heart, maybe a trade could actually be worked out in the end. Baltimore would be a dream spot for Taylor, too.

The Ravens lost J.K. Dobbins for the season after he suffered an Achilles injury. Meanwhile, both Gus Edwards and Justice Hill have spent time on the injury report during this young season. The Ravens also have veterans Melvin Gordon and Kenyan Drake, but none of these backs hold the same talent as Taylor.

If the Colts would back down from their desire to land a first rounder, maybe the Ravens could get him for a second. Then, it would be up to Baltimore to work out a long-term deal to keep him around.
