Baltimore Ravens should steal Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are top-heavy on their roster to the point where they present some interesting points. Joel Bitonio would be one of the best guards in the NFL and would slot right into the left guard spot. All the questions around Ben Cleveland would be gone. Even the injury and contract questions around J.K. Dobbins would be gone with Nick Chubb in the mix.

Jack Conklin would start over Morgan Moses at right tackle. On defense, Greg Newsome would be an upgrade in the slot. While those sound great, the best bets are Denzel Ward and Myles Garrett. Garrett is a better player than Ward, but you could argue that cornerback is the bigger need. Beyond Marlon Humphrey, the Ravens have serious questions.

Ward would come in and immediately make things better. While the Ravens are better on the edge on paper, Odafe Oweh is coming off of a down year, and David Ojabo has not proven anything in the NFL. Adding Garrett would take a lot of pressure off of Ojabo, and the consistent pass rush would also help the back end.

The Ravens probably like Ojabo over Rock Ya-SIn, and would rather upgrade Ya-Sin. Still, Ya-Sin has NFL experience, and Garrett is much better than Ward. The difference in player is greater than the difference in need.
