Great news (God willing!) on the Mark Andrews' availability front, Flock Nation!
According to multiple beat reporters attending Thursday's practice at The Castle in Owings Mills, tight end Mark Andrews resumed practice after having a limited session on Wednesday.
This development alone suggests that Andrews is on track for a potential comeback in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday after nursing a quad injury for weeks on end that ultimately sidelined him for Week 1.
Crucually, Andrews himself provided an update following Thursday's session.
"God willing," Andrews said on Thursday, he will be there on the field next Sunday.
Although Andrews missed the Ravens' opening game even though the player and head coach John Harbaugh provided encouraging updates before the Week 1 matchup. That has been the case again earlier this week and a few days from facing Cincinnati.
Before giving any positively definitive update about Andrews' availability, though, the team seems to be cautious and for now prefers to wait while assessing Andrews' fitness and performance during a few practice sessions before making the final call for the Ravens-Bengals clash.
We will update this story if more information becomes available and/or an official update on Mark Andrews' status emerges.
