4. Laquon Treadwell is losing his roster spot?
Laquon Treadwell was never a player who was locked into a roster spot. He had a chance to win a spot as the Baltimore Ravens sixth wide receiver job, and through one week of the preseason, you could argue that he was right there as a potential favorite.
Treadwell had flashed more upside than the competition in training camp and then became more notable by starting and playing well on special teams in preseason week one. However, he missed week two and is missing valuable time on the practice field.
In the meantime, Wallace caught touchdowns in both preseason games, has flashed on special teams as well, and is healthy. Of the two, it is clear that Wallace has the leg up. It is still close, and if Treadwell can get healthy he will have a chance to change his fate. However, as he sits right now, he is going to be off of the Baltimore Ravens 53-man roster.
