1. Rashod Bateman has everything in place to breakout with the Baltimore Ravens

A lot of these players had asterisks or explanations for why they are on a breakout list. For Rashod Bateman, it makes plenty of sense, as he is slowly becoming the forgotten guy. Bateman struggled as a rookie after recovering from an injury.

He played well in year two and then got hurt again. So, his play has been up and down the injuries are a real question. On top of that, the Baltimore Ravens signed Odell Beckham and drafted Zay Flowers. It is clear that they are not waiting for Bateman to break out, and now they view anything he does as icing on the cake.

More than that, fans are all about the new name in Flowers and the star name in Beckham. So, Bateman is being completely forgotten about. Still, as we noted, the last time we saw him, he made big-time catches and added an explosive element to the Ravens' passing game.

Now, he has Todd Monken as his offensive coordinator, which will make things more pass friendly. Just like the fans, when defenses shift attention to Flowers and Beckham, life will only get easier for Bateman, who was always the number one wide receiver target every snap he played throughout his NFL career.

So, Bateman is currently healthy, he is in a better offense, he was productive the last time we saw him, and life should get even easier for him in the way defenses play him. There will be no excuses for Rashod Bateman If he does not breakout in 2023.
