The Baltimore Ravens final preseason game will mainly be about the team getting in and out of the game safe. Lamar Jackson wants to play, and we may see some work from the starters, but this game will be about players winning position battles and spots on the depth chart or roster.

What are some of the biggest questions surrounding the Ravens roster for this game?

10. Did DeAndre Houston-Carson earn a roster spot with the Baltimore Ravens?

The Baltimore Ravens signed DeAndre Houston-Carson a little more than a week ago. Still, this is a player that would sign with the intention of making the roster, as he has stuck with the Chicago Bears since 2016 and made the roster each year.

He has over 1,700 career snaps on special teams and over 1,000 career snaps on defense. Last season he played the dime safety role for the Bears defense and was a contributor on special teams. That is exactly what the Ravens are looking for in their safety, especially with Chuck Clark out of the mix and Kyle Hamilton sliding into a more prominent role.

Still, signing this late does not lock him onto the team. He needs to show more this week to ensure he gets a spot. With the starters likely sitting and Geno Stone missing practice again, we may see Houston-Carson play close to a full game. How will he perform?
