3. The Baltimore Ravens could give C.J. Henderson a chance

C.J. Henderson is in about the same spot as Noah Igbinoghene. They are both in the last year of their rookie salary contract, and they are both former first-round picks. However, neither is set to start, so the team that currently has them may want to unload them, and it may not cost the Baltimore Ravens much if they want to take a swing here.

Henderson was a former top-ten pick, but going to the Jacksonville Jaguars meant turmoil. His rookie year was the weird pandemic year, and then 2021 was Urban Meyer. He was traded, but he went to Matt Rhule, who was fired in 2022. So, he may just need some stability.

Either way, this new coaching staff is not looking for him to stick around. They added Vonn Bell and Xavier Woods this offseason, and that is going to push safety Jeremy Chinn into the slot full-time. From there, they have Jaycee Horn and Donte Jackson on the outside, so there is not much room for Henderson.

Henderson was not great last year, but it was his first shot at real experience. Now, he can step into a defense with actual stability and try to find a way to stick somewhere long-term.
