Lamar Jackson has the most rushing yards (440) among quarterbacks entering Week 10. He has thrown for nine touchdown passes and rushed for five. He has only thrown three interceptions! All of that is great, but seemingly not enough for his fantasy GMs...
Even though the Baltimore Ravens have the second-best record in the NFL at 7-2 and only trail the Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) in the standings, fantasy managers out there are starting to get a little bit angry with how the Ravens are handling their games and how they're using Jackson.
For example, last weekend Lamar didn't score a single touchdown through the three quarters he spent on the field before getting benched and replaced by Tyler Huntley in a blowout victory over the Seahawks.
"Fantasy owners wanna fade me rn," Jackson captioned an Instagram story after Sunday's game. "Bra sorry y’all boys."
At least fantasy GMs now know that Jackson feels them and he's also sad and sorry about those having him in the roster losing weekly matchups.
Jokes aside, Jackson has been a great fantasy asset through the 2023 season. The fumbling is quite bad (10 in eight games) but outside of that Lamar Jackson's numbers have been quite impressive, earning him top-10 fantasy finishes in five weeks, as well as two others inside the top-22 quarterbacks of the week.
Jackson has not thrown an interception for three consecutive weeks, has rushed for at least one touchdown three times in the first six games of the season, and has two games with two rushing touchdowns.
On top of that, he has thrown 2+ touchdowns in three different games and although he's coming off a no-touchdown type of outing, that had not happened to him before this season with Jackson scoring at least one touchdown (rushing or passing) in every other game he's played in 2023.
