4. Baltimore Ravens should sign Troy Hill

Troy Hill is in a similar spot to Fabian Moreau. He did not start in the playoffs last season, but he did start 12 games last year, and he does have three years of playoff experience, coming from the Rams' defense in 2017-2020.

Troy Hill is 32 years old now, and the Rams, who have had him for years, seem comfortable moving on which may speak to where he is. However, the Rams defense is essentially in rebuild mode, so the veteran just does not make sense when you break it down. Hill makes sense catching on with a team like the Ravens, where he can help put a defense over the top and bring his veteran presence as an asset.

Troy Hill has 4,209 career snaps and 55 career starts in his NFL career. He also has experience in the slot and on the outside. For his career, he has 1,478 snaps in the slot and 2,146 on the outside. He played just 172 snaps in the slot last year, but he played 471 in 2021, and 620 in 2020.

He is a great fit for the Baltimore Ravens. He is another player that could probably catch on as the third or fourth outside cornerback or the potential starter, if not the top backup in the slot. His versatility makes him more valuable than someone like Jalyn Armour-Davis.
